Mobile journalism training empowers communication experts

Tinago, founder of Tigzozo Kudzai recently led an International Media Support (IMS) training workshop, equipping communication experts and journalists from across Zimbabwe with skills to harness the power of mobile phones for compelling storytelling.

Tinago, with extensive experience in media filming and photography, shared expertise on leveraging smartphones for high-quality content creation.

"These little devices can transform the way we film, photograph, and tell compelling stories," Tinago emphasized.

The training aimed to bridge the gap between traditional journalism and modern mobile technology.

"With years of experience in media filming and photography, from high-end cinema cameras to the smartphone in your pocket, it's my mission to equip you with the knowledge and skills to thrive in this fast-evolving landscape," Tinago said.

Participants gained knowledge in mobile journalism as well as techniques for captivating storytelling.

Tinago expressed gratitude to IMS and the participants.

"Thanks to everyone who participated in this training, together we are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in journalism and storytelling," Tinago concluded.

The initiative reflects Tigzozo's commitment to enhancing media capacity and promoting innovative storytelling in Zimbabwe.
