ZANU PF’s mantra of ‘Musangano kuma Cell’ would undoubtedly ensure the Party’s overwhelming victory in the next plebiscite.
This was said by President and ZANU PF’s First Secretary, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, during the just-ended 19th National People’s Conference in Bindura.
“As highlighted at this landmark conference, our Party continues to grow and modernize structurally as well as administratively. This has seen us reaching a staggering number of active members whose database and mobilization is now ICT enabled.
“The mantra Musangano kuma Cell will undoubtedly see us predetermine and realize our resounding 2023 Harmonized General Election victory,” said the President.
The President urged ZANU PF members to go back to their Party Cells and work with the grassroots to establish definitive figures ahead of the 2023 elections.
“The journey towards a resounding 2023 electoral victory for ZANU PF has already begun. Let us go back to our Cells, Branches, Wards, Districts and Provinces to establish definitive figures Ward by Ward and Constituency by Constituency,” added the President.
President Mnangagwa said the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology should train and develop loyal and ideologically grounded Party cadres from the new members to those returning to ZANU PF. He said the Party had an upper hand as the country drew closer towards the 2023 elections.
The President further said that ZANU PF was the Party of choice and it shall always be with the people as it builds the country with the view of uplifting citizens’ lives.
President Mnangagwa urged ZANU PF members to remain on the path of unity, peace, love and harmony to ensure an undisputable electoral victory.
ZANU PF is targeting a minimum of 5 million votes in 2023 and currently, the Party has a verified membership of 4 million members with the actual membership to be known after the Party’s ongoing restructuring exercise.
