ANC's foils Mandaza's plan to front the Gdansk narrative in SADC

The South African ruling party, the ANC, successfully disrupted renowned academic, Ibbo Mandaza's attempt to propagate the controversial Gdansk narrative within the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Mandaza's lecture that was scheduled for today at the prestigious OR Tambo School of Leadership faced strong opposition from ANC members who protested against his involvement.

A reliable source disclosed that Zimbabwean regime change agents had handpicked Mandaza as the face of the Gdansk mafia in Zimbabwe due to his perceived innocence and intellectual prowess.

According to the source, the ANC's intervention has thwarted this plot, exposing Mandaza's true intentions as a potential threat to regional stability.

"It's alleged that agents for the regime change in Zimbabwe strategically chose Mandaza to front the Gdansk mafia in Zimbabwe. Mandaza is seen as an innocent intellectual and former civil servant. This makes him the perfect face for this operation," the source said.

The source further claimed that the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), with support from various Western nations and certain African political parties that resonate with the Gdansk Declaration, is generously funding these so-called 'Gdansk intellectuals'.

The same source added that the objective of this was to launch a comprehensive diplomatic offensive within the region, seeking to delegitimize the current Zimbabwean government and pave the way for a CCC-backed takeover.

"Ibbo Mandaza is just one of the many intellectuals. These intellectuals, perceived as neutral due to their reputation built from running think-tanks or their academic endeavours at universities, are being deployed for a more sinister motive," the source added.

The source claimed that the architects behind the Gdansk Declaration are pushing for ideological penetration within Africa's historic liberation movements.

The overarching strategy, as our source outlines, is the systematic removal of these movements to establish governments that would essentially function as puppets under the direct influence of Washington.

In the case of Zimbabwe, however, their plans seem to have hit a roadblock, as the ANC has shown its astute political wisdom by seeing through this strategic facade.

By postponing or even potentially denying Mandaza's offer to address its members on the situation in Zimbabwe, the ANC has successfully pierced through the 'veil of intellectual objectivity' and exposed the underlying Gdansk influences.

Meanwhile, political commentator, Edith Mushore said that the broader implications of these events remain to be seen, but for now, it appears that the diplomatic strategies of the Gdansk backers may need some recalibration in the face of resolute opposition from established political entities like the ANC.
