Vice President Kembo Mohadi applauded Mashonaland Central for voting for ZANU PF resoundingly at a successful and well attended thank you rally.

Whilst addressing thousands of ZANU PF supporters in Mt Darwin yesterday, VP Mohadi commended Mashonaland Central for voting for ZANU PF and President Emmerson Mnangagwa . He also thanked the province for being the best province in terms of votes cast for the President.

"Chekutanga musangano uno takausheedzera kuti tiuye kutenda zvikuru vanhu veMashonaland Central nekukunda kwatakaita musarudzo dzedu dzemusi wa 30 July 2018. Toda kuti tikutendei, makavhotera musangano wenyu zvine mutsindo kupfuura maprovince ese.

"You demonstrated unparalled patriotism and love for your country and the love for your party. When you supported the party candidates and especially when you supported our Presidential candidate ED Mnangagwa. Thank you very much for that.

"Thank you for showing your love, support and commitment to your party ZANU PF. Makaratidza pasi rese kuti Zimbabweans cannot be moved, Zimbabweans cannot be bought by money, your freedom comes first," he said.

The Vice President said that this resounding victory showed the enemy that whatever they do has no effect on Zimbabweans or the party.

"Kukunda kwamakaita musarudzo dzakapfuura idzi zvakaratidza muvengi kuti zvese zvaaita hazvina zvazvinoita kune vanhu ve Mashonaland Central," he said.

“Let us continue to build this 2nd Republic, pushing and pulling in the same direction, we can build a better Zimbabwe. We urge party members to be more vigilant and guard against infiltration by detractors.

"Let us jealously guard our peace, unity and harmony in order to develop our country. As members of the revolutionary party let us shun all forms of  violence. I urge the nation to be patient and remain resilient as we turn around our economic fortunes and build the Zimbabwe we want," he said.
