On his X handle, Tshabangu stated that he had a meeting with Biti, solidifying their association and shedding light on the collaboration between the two prominent figures within the CCC.
"Just after my interview on ZBC, I had a dinner with one of our decorated Change Champions and learned man, Hon Biti @Crown Plaza. As he's a victim of dictatorship, we deliberated on pertinent issues that will add value to our struggle for democracy, transparency, and constitutionalism,” Tshabangu conveyed on X.
Tshabangu further emphasized the importance of collaboration with Biti, portraying him as a fellow victim of dictatorship. He shed light on their deliberations during a dinner meeting at Crown Plaza, immediately following an interview on ZBC.
According to Tshabangu the duo hold the discussions during their meeting at Crown Plaza, deliberating on pertinent issues that would contribute to the CCC's struggle for democracy, transparency, and constitutionalism.
Meanwhile, political analyst Terence Chipwanya speaking to this publication weighed in on the Tshabangu-Biti association, commending their efforts to instil democracy within the party.
Chipwanya highlighted that Nelson Chamisa's purported dictatorial tendencies had crippled the party, and the move by Tshabangu and Biti could bring about a much-needed change.
"Tshabangu and Biti's collaboration is a positive step towards strengthening democratic principles within CCC. Chamisa's past leadership has been marred by dictatorial tendencies, and the party needed a fresh approach. Tshabangu and Biti seem committed to steering CCC in a direction that fosters democracy, transparency, and constitutionalism," Chipwanya noted.
