ZANU PF Shamva North legislator Isaac Chinodakufa has orchestrated the installation of a new ZESA transformer at Mushowani Growth Point, ending a dark era that lasted over a year due to vandalism.
Chinodakufa told this publication that Mushowani Growth Point had languished without electricity for more than a year following the malicious destruction of its transformer.
However, thanks to the relentless efforts of Chinodakufa, who tirelessly lobbied the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), a replacement transformer has finally been installed; bringing light and hope back to the community.
"Electricity is not just a luxury; it's a fundamental necessity that underpins industrial growth and significantly enhances the quality of life for our people. By restoring power to Mushowani Growth Point, we are not only revitalising economic activities but also empowering our community to thrive," he said.
As a staunch believer in President Mnangagwa's vision for a prosperous Zimbabwe, Chinodakufa reiterated his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents.
"I am a foot soldier of President Mnangagwa, and I am fully committed to fulfilling the mandate entrusted to me by our esteemed leader. My duty goes beyond just providing electricity; I am committed to addressing all facets of development that can uplift the living standards of our people," Chinodakufa affirmed.
The news of the transformer's installation has been met with widespread praise from residents in and around Mushowani Growth Point.
Among those expressing gratitude is Elizabeth Chikono, who lauded Chinodakufa's proactive approach to addressing the community's needs and expressed optimism for the future under his leadership.
