CCC plots to disrupt national peace with violent demos

A concerning report has emerged about a purported plan by members of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) to turn the country into a battleground through a series of spontaneous and violent demonstrations during the festive season.

According to a source close to the situation, the CCC's youth wing led by Denford Ngadziore, has allegedly received approval from that party's president, Nelson Chamisa, to orchestrate these protests.

"The plan is in motion with Chamisa’s blessing, to stage demonstrations that are far from peaceful. The intention is to create chaos and disrupt the festive peace," the source stated.

The source revealed that the orchestrators of these planned demonstrations include prominent figures within the CCC such as Ngadziore, Tinashe Hamauswa, Samuel Meso, Chamunorwa Tembo, Edith Mundiya, and the recalled Tshabalala-Pelandaba legislator, Gift Ostallos Siziba.

"This group is actively mobilising CCC supporters nationwide via social media to participate in the demonstrations," the source explained.

According to the insiders, the CCC thugs intend to target Government buildings and vehicles, ZANU PF buildings and vehicles, and individuals associated with ZANU PF.

"Their agenda is to wreak havoc, targeting state and ZANU PF assets and even people affiliated with the ruling Party," the source claimed.

The source further suggested that the underlying motive behind these planned demonstrations is to put pressure on President Mnangagwa, hoping to either force a declaration of fresh elections or negotiate a Government of national unity with Nelson Chamisa.

"They believe that creating chaos will corner President Mnangagwa into making political concessions," the source added.

However, the source also hinted at possible internal rifts within the CCC that might impede the execution of these plans.

"Fissures within the party might lead to a significant failure of these planned protests," the source speculated.

Moreover, the source warned that the alleged plot has already been leaked to the police, potentially leading to pre-emptive actions.

"Arrests are likely, and many of these overzealous youths might find themselves spending the festive season behind bars," said the source.

The gravity of these allegations, if true, underscores a significant threat to the country’s stability during a period usually marked by celebration and peace.

It remains to be seen how these purported plans will unfold and the response they may provoke from law enforcement and the Government.
