“To date, the milestones and targets set out in our Manifesto are beginning to show throughout the length and breadth of our economy. I commend various sectors of our economy ,such as agriculture, mining, energy and power development ,manufacturing and infrastructure development for delivering tangible results, thus far,” said the President.
President Mnangagwa further urged party leaders to be exemplary in their communities and to take part in the Government sponsored Pfumvudza programme.

President Mnangagwa further said that projects that are being financed by devolution funds are now visible in various Wards and urged party members to take charge with regards to communicating the successes of the Second Republic to the people.
The President also bemoaned the worrisome trend, where the country’s detractors use popular culture and arts to attack and undermine the country’s unity and peace. He further recommended that the Party must deploy its organs and cadres to exploit opportunities in the arts and culture industry by packaging and popularising the Nation Building and Development Agenda.
On the forthcoming 2023 elections, President Mnangagwa urged party members to remain unwavering in their dealings by consistently strengthening and increasing the party’s membership base.
He also said the re-introduction of the District Coordinating Committees (DCCs) should serve as a mechanism to further consolidate the party mobilisation strategy at the grassroots level.
President Mnangagwa further said the party will not tolerate the imposition of candidates, vote buying and other electoral malpractices during the DCC elections.
The President Mnangagwa also informed Politburo members that the party received a delegation from the African National Congress (ANC). He said it was prudent for sister liberation movements to continue sharing experiences and strategies in view of the ongoing onslaught by the detractors and neo colonialists
