Cowdray Park residents to receive title deeds

In a move set to transform the lives of thousands in Bulawayo's Cowdray Park constituency, the Government has announced its plans to issue title deeds to households, empowering residents with permanent home ownership.

This development was recently revealed by Vice President, Retired General Constantino Chiwenga, while campaigning for ZANU PF candidate, Arthur Mujeyi in Cowdray Park.

"We are committed to issuing title deeds to the residents of Cowdray Park. This will not only provide them with legal ownership of their properties, but also mark a significant step towards ensuring their housing security," he stated.

In addition to the issuance of title deeds, the Vice President outlined a comprehensive development plan for Cowdray Park.

This includes constructing a new secondary school, installing sewer and water pipelines, providing an ambulance for the suburb's new clinic, drilling boreholes, and building a Police station.

"These initiatives demonstrate our dedication to improving the living conditions in Cowdray Park and ensuring that the residents have access to essential services," VP Chiwenga added.

VP Chiwenga emphasised the anticipated growth and development in Cowdray Park.

"With the imminent victory of ZANU PF, we foresee a future of prosperity and stability for the residents of Cowdray Park," he remarked.

The Vice President also announced the allocation of resources to support the campaign in the Cowdray Park constituency.

"The Party’s commissariat department has provided 10 vehicles, 2000 litres of fuel, and USD 2500 to each of the five constituencies participating in the by-elections," he mentioned.

Political analyst, Nobleman Runyanga lauded the Government's initiatives.

"President Mnangagwa's commitment to issuing title deeds in Cowdray Park is part of a broader strategy to bring order to the settlement. The planned layouts in the area make it well-equipped for receiving the title deeds, which will legally secure the homeowners' properties," Runyanga explained.

Meanwhile, the issuance of title deeds to Cowdray Park residents follows last year's Government initiative through an Inter-Ministerial Committee that successfully issued 6000 title deeds in Epworth.
